To protect the public and staff from the spread of COVID-19, the following locations have been closed to the public:
Montana Department of Revenue locations in Helena, including:
- The Mitchell building in the Capitol Complex;
- The Liquor Warehouse;
- The Donovan building, on Last Chance Gulch.
Please Note:
Taxpayers may continue to drop off returns, payments, and correspondence in the drop box in the Donovan building foyer.
Stamped, pre-addressed envelopes are also available in the Mitchell Building, at the northeast entrance on the Sanders Street side, for those taxpayers who wish to mail tax returns or other correspondence to the department.
Both these options are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Montana Department of Administration locations, including:
- The Mitchell building in the Capitol Complex;
- The Metcalf building in the Capitol Complex;
- 100 S. Park Avenue.
The Department of Revenue is continuing to provide all services to the public, including processing tax returns. We will continue to provide updates as they become available. Please check back often, or subscribe to receive notifications.
The Department of Administration is continuing to provide all services to the public by phone and online. General Services Division is open to the public for services at 1310 E. Lockey.
