Recording Harvest Requirements

The wet weight of each individual plant must be recorded in Metrc by the end of the business day.

A provider’s harvest(s) may take several days. However, all plants that are physically harvested must be recorded by the end of that business day to ensure compliance with seed-to-sale tracking requirements.

When to Retake Educational Trainings

Per MCA 16-12-226(3)(c):

Annual proof of having passed training that includes identification, prevention, and reporting for human trafficking, rules and regulations for legal sales of marijuana in Montana, and any other training required by the department.

Upon renewal of your worker permit, you must take the most current Rules and Regulations and Human Trafficking trainings. If your certificates are from the previous year, your worker permit application will not be approved until you have taken the current trainings.

Free Consultations from OSHA

Are you looking to enhance your current health and safety programs? Did you know that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) provides free consultations to cannabis companies? Montana providers can click on the link below to request their free consultation.

Legal is Legit

Purchasing and consuming legal (or regulated marijuana) has significant benefits for consumers, local communities, the local and state economy, and the environment. Read about it in “Legal is Legit”.

Email Correspondence Requirements

 Per ARM 42.39.105(2)

A licensee is responsible for ensuring the department has a current and working email address and a current and valid mailing address on file to receive department correspondence.

Unless expressly opted out, licensees agreed to receive department correspondence via email as part of the application process. Department correspondence may be time sensitive, and licensees are encouraged to regularly check their email inbox and set spam filters.
