The Cannabis Control Division (CCD) Mission Statement
Our mission is to ensure the health and safety of all Montanans through fair administration, education, and enforcement of the Montana Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act (MMRT).
CCD Vision Statement
Develop a good faith partnership between the State of Montana and stakeholders by establishing rules and policies that provide interested consumers with access to a regulated industry while diminishing an unregulated, untested illicit market.

The Licensing Team
The licensing staff is responsible for processing all worker, patient, and business applications and renewals.
The staff consists of:
- 1 Bureau Chief
- 2 Education Specialists
- 1 Lead Compliance Specialist
- 5 Compliance Specialists
The Inspection Team
The inspectors inspect cultivation, manufacturing, and dispensary locations to ensure they are following state laws and regulations for compliance operations.
The staff consists of:
- 2 Inspector Supervisors
- 12 Inspectors
