We can also provide you with the necessary information and replacement copies of your property records, past-year tax returns or other revenue-related information.
Forest land damaged by a natural disaster.
Forest land may qualify if the natural disaster dropped the land’s stocking rate below minimum requirements. The landowner must show how the rate has been reduced.
A 50% reduction in forest productivity value for 20 years, beginning the date of the natural disaster. The first reduction is available for the year after the disaster.
Apply by completing a Request for Informal Classification and Appraisal Review (Form AB-26). You must apply for this reduction during the same tax year as the natural disaster.
