City Beer and Wine Licenses


A City Beer License is used by businesses such as a restaurant, bar or tavern located in an incorporated city or within five miles of the incorporated city limits to:

*The application processing fee only applies to original applications and is not applied to renewals.

Application Requirements

To apply for a license:

To apply for a wine amendment, you must have food available, but the food does not need to be prepared on-site.

License Quotas and Limits

The number of licenses available in a city is based on population. However, if the population increases and a new beer license becomes available, it will be offered through the competitive bidding process. Applications Options and Dates

Apply for a City Beer and Wine License using the Alcoholic Beverages – Gambling Operator Combined On-Premises License Application (Form 5), available in our TransAction Portal (TAP).

A city beer and wine license must be renewed every year by June 30.
